Arab Orange Card
The Orange Card system, part of the International Motor Insurance Card System, is an arrangement between authorities and insurance organizations to ensure the victims of road accidents in case of injury or damage sustained in multiple states. The Arab Orange card was established between most of the members of the Arab League and is applicable primarily in the Middle East and North Africa.
It is an independent card, and the coverage offered is valid outside the geographical borders of the country where it was issued. The Arab orange insurance card is applied to the traffic within the Arab counties.
In the case of accidents, the compensation is given in accordance with the law of the country where the accident happened. The unified office in the visited country must be informed of the accident.
